An applicant can raise an appeal if their permit application gets rejected. The appeal process is designed to be fair, allowing the applicant to write why they should have a permit. They can also request a supporting appeal by specifying a colleague or manager to support their appeal, there is a time window for this response.

Once the appeal has been submitted it is checked by an administrative user before it is processed and passed onto the panel for a decision. The system will send an email to random panel members to approve or reject the appeal. All panel decisions result in a unanimous appeal approval or rejection.
