This summer, we have been working with The University of Plymouth, Faculty of Arts and Humanities to implement four working stores to help them organise and manage their technical equipment and facilities.

After initially looking at smarthub for their new Technical Hub, Plymouth have also added stores for their studios and facilities, Brunel fabrication Workshop and the Performing Arts and Education facilities.

Recently we spent two days consultancy working with their team as they implement changes to the booking and usage for their technical facilities. These workshops and one-to-one sessions were very productive and we were very happy to help them gain clear and efficient solutions for their Faculty.

"Choosing a stock control system for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities here at the University of Plymouth we wanted to not just have a robust and easy to use product for the staff and students but one that gave the extra value and flexibility we required. Bernie and his team have been excellent in offering the siso smarthub to us with bespoke training, ideas of how to solve some issues and the flexibility we required for this multidisciplinary faculty.

I and the technical team have been very impressed with the service we have received and their endless patience they have shown us while setting up this system; anyone considering a stock control system should seriously look at smarthub and its capabilities, but more importantly the service that backs up this product".

In the coming months we will continue to help them strengthen their systems and work through any procedural issues that may arise during the changes, ensuring they have a very robust systems in place for their Faculty looking ahead.
