Select your desired room layout, specifying the number of assets such as tables and seats required. An optional meet & greet can be offered to alert technicians.


If a room has non-removable assets, these can be assigned usage by the system administrators, allowing for easy management and accountability.

A unique feature in the smarthub Project tool is the option to make them restricted; meaning when active, only associated users have access to equipment attached to that project. The tool is also time based, meaning you can set the parameters for when and what is to be used.


Open projects let users link their bookings to a project without restricting access to any equipment. This works in conjunction with booking form approval and therefore can be very useful in controlling equipment usage as part of a course module or unit.

Smarthub’s Booking User Interface (BUI) is a responsive design that is simple to use but still contains core functionality, with the facility to make bookings via verbal commands.


Primarily used by students, our focus was on mobile devices and booking on the move, although it adapts to a desktop environment.


With limited resources and high demands sometimes an asset may not be available, to enhance the user experience the BUI will provide resolutions by suggesting alternative times or similar assets.
