Kent have utilised both Smarthub and Smartlab to manage resources across the board, plus used some of our other tools and features to enrich the student experience further.
Nottingham Trent University
Nottingham Trent University were looking for an updated system to bring together separated and siloed management of their scientific resources.
Smartlab was a natural fit because of its abilities with laboratory information management, plus resource booking and management.
King's College London
King’s College London had the issue of managing event facilities for five main campuses and many more university buildings, stretched throughout central London.
The Siso team were on hand to help them find a solution so that staff, equipment and events facilities could all be organised from one interface. We call this solution ServiceHub.
Since then, we have been in discussions with KCL to roll out Smarthub and Smartlab more widely within the university.
University of the Creative Arts
Siso has been working with the University of the Creative Arts for over 13 years to manage the use of their equipment and creative facilities.
They approached us as they needed a system that could capture direct payment for sundries and consumables students were using within their courses. We helped them configure the eStore feature that can process payments at the point of booking, and can also manage token charges where payment isn’t appropriate.
UCA continue to work with us to expand the management of all their equipment, facilities and resources.
