We’re celebrating the 14th Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) with the roleout of updated and improved accessibility tools for the Smarthub and Smartlab systems. GAAD states on their homepage that, ‘its mission is to disrupt the culture of technology and digital product development to include accessibility as a core requirement’. Siso supports this aim and we are constantly updating our systems to improve accessibility.
Smarthub and Smartlab already conform to the WCAG2.1 guidelines in our 6.0 versions. These latest tools, which will be available in version 6.1, make it easier to interact with the simple booking interface, and conform to WCAG2.2.
Now, you can click on your account icon to bring out a panel where you can change your account details, log out, and also toggle the accessibility toolbar on and off. The voice function is enabled by default.
The new toolbar makes using accessibility functions easier to reach and stays live whilst you are signed in.
