As such, as a Smarthub or Smartlab user (version 6.0 and later), you have access to everything this tool can do.

It works by creating services—ranging from setting up AV for a lecture to demonstrating complex experiments—and assigning people, locations, and equipment to each one.

You can tie these services down with restrictions on duration (including setup and packdown time) and notice required, plus you can set a schedule of when the service is available. You can also select the visibility of the service so that only the right people see, and get to request it.

This means that someone requesting a service can very simply select their dates and times, add any equipment bookings, and all the elements (people, places and information) will be scheduled for the event or task.
