The 2026 Siso Session – Agenda update!
Join us on Thursday 18th June for our 2026 Siso Session at the Park Plaza Hotel in Waterloo, London.
It’s shaping up to be a valuable and enjoyable day, featuring best practice guidance and practical solutions for resource management in labs and workshops.
There will be plenty of opportunities to get involved throughout the day, with games and quizzes, a networking lunch, and a drinks reception to round off the event.
During the event we will be showcasing and discussing our new Smartlab 6.2 update and Laboratory Information Management System functionality.
We will also be joined by key industry speakers:
- Andrea Hodgetts from LEAF (Laboratory Efficiency Assessment Framework) will be talking on sustainability within STEM based workshops and labs, and giving us a runthrough of the LEAF acreditation process.
- Sam Creel will be giving us a talk from UniGreenScheme on the work they do with universities and colleges extending the life and use of equipment and machinery.
- NEW! Effective asset tagging and working with barcodes. We’ll be joined by Simon Belton from CILS International, to discuss best practice in asset tagging, barcoding within Smartlab, and some simple solutions for asset identification.
- NEW! We would also like to announce that Lapsafe will be joining us again to demonstrate their smart locker systems.
